At the beginning of this year we began a new event to bring together members of our community each week: Wellness Wednesday’s.

The meetings allowed us to come together and socialize, listen and share our experiences and opinions on many different topics of wellness; mindfulness, meditation, self-love and many more.

Some weeks take the form of open-discussion circles on a pre-selected topic, while some meetings are led by special guest speakers. The weekly topics are chosen by our meeting leaders, who love receiving feedback from participants so please get in contact if there is a subject you would like to see discussed.

Our goal was to create a safe space where people knew they could come and share their thoughts, feelings or opinions on various topics each week. We felt it was important to provide a resource to our friends and community members to connect with other like-minded people. We are thrilled with the success of the weekly meet-ups and we thank all those who continue to participate each week.

(Please note we’ve had to make these meet-ups virtual due to COVID-19 and so they now take place as Zoom calls every Monday at 6:30 – 7:30pm).
