RETURNING TO IRELAND

Returning-to-Ireland-Seminars

In response to a large volume of individuals asking our fellow Irish Centers questions about the logistics of moving to Ireland, as a citizen or not, we are part of an online webinar series that will cover “Moving to Ireland”. This will be presented as a collaborative effort between the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers which is made of the following community organizations: New York Irish Center, Irish Pastoral Centre, Irish Diaspora Center, Rian Immigrant Center, Irish Community Services, Aisling Irish Community Center, Irish Immigration Pastoral Center, Emerald Isle Immigration Center, Irish Outreach Center, Irish Heritage Club – Seattle.

With regards to moving to an Irish citizen relocating to Ireland non-EEA spouse, you might wish to start with the Irish Immigration Service website.

US citizens are non-visa required nationals, so can enter Ireland for a vacation for up to 90 days without a visa.

The Citizens Information.ie is a great resource and offers detailed information and a step by step guide on bringing your non-EEA spouse to Ireland.  With regards to residence rights in another EU country for a non-EU spouse please link to europa.eu Your non-EU spouse & children webpage.

You may also find CrossCare Migrant Project (the social support agency of the Dublin Archdiocese) useful, especially the webpage Returning to Ireland – Bringing non-Irish family members.
