At the beginning of this year we decided to provide our community members with an opportunity to kick-start a new decade in a positive, self-aware and mindful way. We named this event Wellness Wednesday’s and began our first week with ‘Renew You’, a holistic and gentle approach to beginning our year in the best way possible.

The weekly gatherings were a fantastic success and allowed us to come together and socialize, listen and share our experiences and opinions on many different topics of wellness; mindfulness, meditation, self-love and many more.

With the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of this year, we were sad to pause the in-person element of this special event. However, with each dark cloud comes a silver lining and Mindfulness Monday’s was born!

Over the past few weeks, we have moved these meetings online using Zoom and it has been wonderful! These discussions are just what we need right now and we are all learning how to cope with the stay at home orders as best we can.

Our goal was to provide an outlet to vent frustrations or even just to connect with others and to give our friends and community members a resource to use when feeling overwhelmed, and we are delighted this has continued to be made possible.
